Sweet & Sour was juried into and placed 2ND in the Escondido Municipal Art Gallery’s Annual Fiber and Book Arts Show, September 10 through October 1, 2021.
This art book began as an abstract painting, then became an expansive accordion structure with multiple panel pop-outs; created in July 2021 with acrylic paint, paper and thread and sits within a wooden base.

Lost and Found Pop is an altered board book I created during Spring 2021. The book contains my poem “Imagine Birds Swallow Stars” and is filled with personal ephemera including denim, felt, fabric, thread, ribbon, buttons, stamped images, collage, acrylic paint, stray pins, tags, film strips, tickets, velvet leaves, and corrugated cardboard. This book was also juried into the Escondido Municipal Art Gallery’s Fiber and Book Arts Show.
